Discópolis spielt einfach gute Musik – von Ethnobeats bis alternativen Rock über Flamenco und Jazz. Und natürlich ganz viel spanische Musik.
Discópolis is an open and cosmopolitan voyage to the world of music. It is a daily show at prime time broadcasted all over Spain on Radio 3, Radio Nacional de España. It started january 5th, 1987. Actually it is on air from 19:00 to 20:00. Discópolis plays all kind of good music from ethnobeat to alternative rock, flamenco, some types of jazz, songwriters, european music and 50% spanish music, made in Spain.
Ethnobeat (Ritmos Etnicos) and not world music. Why? Because all music are equals and there is not one more equal than other (Orwell dixit). We don`t believe in ghettos and we have to join all together at prime time with progressive ideas. The I.D. show is Dansometer by Ray Lema.
